The startup is designed to transform the interaction between patients and physicians, in the $150bn rare disease market. With an initial focus in European countries, the startup has aggressive growth aspirations and is projected to scale to 15-20 people by 2020. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, there will be a requirement for international travel.. We're looking for an exceptional leader in design with experience across UX, UI, branding and marketing. We need an innovator, someone who will partner with peers in product, engineering and marketing, working as part of a team to craft a compelling vision and develop a truly transformative new product within the healthcare space. This brand new venture is backed by a market-leading pharmaceutical company specialising in rare diseases, providing the CEO access to a host of medical expertise as well as enviable funding levels, ensuring the first employees can spend time focussing on the launch and scaling of the platform across Europe.. Responsibilities:. Conveying team intent with compelling usage of personas, user-journeys, and other storytelling frameworks into high-value solutions. Leveraging customer insights and robust testing techniques to drive design decisions. Implementing a cross-discipline perspective that considers multiple aspects of the brand/business/experience and creates a way for businesses to align with design to solve problems. Identifying and articulating design logic, benefits and trade-offs. Manage and grow designers within the product team; this includes hiring and mentoring all levels of designers to deliver their best work. Developing prioritised concepts with wireframes, annotations and UX mapping. Translating strategic design into controls, mechanisms and processes. Performing wireframe iterations based on internal reviews and user testing feedback. Developing choices around design and user interfaces. Creating style guides, templates and other frameworks. Ensuring the product is consistent throughout the user journey by creating and maintaining consistent brand guidelines. Implementing and executing marketing campaigns to help commercialise the product. Background:. Experience managing a team of designers. Start-up experience, or experience working in Agile teams using a range of different design methodologies. Able to work in a fast paced environment, to adapt and change direction as required. Highly skilled communicator, able to put together content for specific audiences, from customers to C-suite corporate partners. Working experience with Sketch, Adobe CS, and InVision.. Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes. Excellent people management skills to collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to achieve a single vision for the product
