REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS - ENVIRONMENTAL & FOOD SERVICES
Details: Great opportunity for a Regional level leader with multi-site experience and proven successful client and employee relationships to lead the Environmental and Food Service operations within the designated region. The Regional Director will have approximately 16 Director level reports at 8 hospital accounts in New York, Connecticut, Maryland, and DC. Considered candidates will be able to travel within and outside of the region as business needs require. This role is remote/traveling and candidates may be based in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, or Mid-West.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Director plans objectives for the region and ensures unit directors are in compliance with corporate, regional and financial goals. Responsible for the overall operation, growth and profitability of the region for Environmental and Food Services accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides operational and logistical support for assigned line of business
* Participates in strategic planning meetings to develop objectives for the assigned region
* Develops and maintains annual budget and forecasts for assigned region; monitors financial reports of the region to ensure budgetary compliance with Regional and Corporate goals
* Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures of the region to ensure maximum income from existing accounts
* Participates in the sales process for the acquisition of new business. Coordinates the development of proposals and contracts. Prepares and conducts presentations to prospective clients
* Participates in client negotiations, and renegotiation of facility contracts. Coordinates documentation of contract changes
* Responsible for managing client relationships through the management and leadership of multiple operations
* Visits units regularly to inspect unit operations to ensure contract compliance
* Monitors customer, client and associate satisfaction surveys. Conducts audits, surveys, and assessments to ensure company policies and procedures are followed
* Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policy and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadline
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in multi-unit management
* Must be willing to travel
* Prior experience managing multi-million dollar volume accounts
* Strong track record of driving customer satisfaction
* Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L driven environment
* Proven ability to mentor and develop team members
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
