Position Summary:

To grow Dymax Oligomers & Coatings’ marketshare by managing the development, commercialization, and life cycle of our rawmaterial products based on market needs. Utilizing existing and future productlines, synchronize all elements of a fully integrated program by working withmultiple functions including: Customers, R&D, Operations, Applications,Marketing Communications, Field Sales, Channel Partners, Dymax Leadership Team,and outside Market Influencers. The focus for this role is on the Bomar productline, inclusive of urethane (meth)acrylate oligomers, other (meth)acrylated andreactive materials, and contract manufacturing business.


Product Stewardship; New product developmentoversight including business case development; Product life cycle management; Productpromotion; Competitive Analysis.


Product Stewardship

Ensure the proactive management of the product lifecycle. Define standards for both existing and new products underdevelopment, price maintenance, optimize costing (i.e. multiple sourcequalification), and align with manufacturing to ensure Business ContinuityPlanning (BCP) is maintained. Manage raw material replacement with BusinessDevelopment and R&D teams. Coordinate and drive necessary regulatory and industrycertification/testing for new products and as needed for commercial products.Facilitate product line reviews to assess product specification suitability.Review and manage product profitability, and support sourcing and R&Defforts to drive product costs lower.

New Product Development  (NPD)

In concert with theBusiness Unit Director, create support for new product development. Translateproduct strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. Provide oversighton new products under development, coordinate with the commercial organizationto ensure customer partner is engaged throughout the NPD process. Ensuresupply chain and manufacturing are positioned to scale new product whencompleted. Own commercialization plan used to drive new productactivities including launch packages and global technical training whenapplicable. Work with Business Development on creation of Technology Roadmapsand alignment with Strategic Plan.

Product Promotion

Collaborate with necessary commercial facets todevelop training materials, pricing strategy, value proposition presentations,and trade show/publications.Works withMarCom and Business Development Manager to develop product launch packages,literature, sell sheets, Product Datasheets.

Market Intelligence:

Become a Subject Matter Expert inproduct/market/application areas. Keepup with product and competitor developments in the market focused area andprovide input into product technology roadmaps, Responsible for monitoringcompetitor activity for managed product lines/segments and benchmarking.Coordinate any relevant industry certification/testing as needed.



·Requires strong organizational/time managementskills and close attention to detail.

·Must have the ability to handle multiplepriorities, work effectively under pressure, develop and maintain processes, andmeet deadlines.

·Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Business, Marketingor related field of study.

·3 years of relevant experience in industrial B2Bmarketing, or strong background in technical field of UV curable materials.

·Specialty chemical sales or marketing experience ispreferred

·Musthave excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·Independent judgment is required to plan,prioritize, organize, and accomplish a diversified workload.

Domestic and International Travel

Up to 25% of time could be spent on domestic andinternational travel to obtain VoC and VoM relative to the product strategicgrowth plan.
